WorkHub is a Progressive Web App. It installs to your phone's home screen straight from the browser, with your own branding, and behaves like any other app — no app store, no waiting for review, no separate password.

iPhone and iPad

  1. Open your WorkHub address in Safari (this doesn't work in Chrome on iOS).
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.

Android

  1. Open your WorkHub address in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu.
  3. Tap Install app (or Add to Home screen).

Turn on push notifications

After installing, open WorkHub from the home screen icon and allow notifications when prompted. You'll then get alerts for new tickets assigned to you, booking confirmations and task reminders.

If you dismissed the prompt, go to Profile → Notifications and re-enable it. On iOS, push notifications only work when WorkHub has been installed to the home screen — they will not arrive if you're using it in a browser tab.

What works offline

Cached tickets, contacts and schedules stay readable when signal drops — useful in basements and plant rooms. Changes you make offline queue up and sync when you're back online. You can't create a booking offline, because availability has to be checked against the live calendar.

Camera capture

On a phone, the ticket form's attachment field offers your camera directly, so you can photograph a fault while you're standing in front of it.
