Housekeeping turns cleaning rounds into scheduled work with a record of who did what, so "has the second floor been done?" is a question you look up rather than ask.

Scheduling a round

Operations Hub → Scheduled Housekeeping → Add. Give the task a title, a Category, a Frequency, and where it happens.

Shifts

Every task sits in a shift — Morning, Afternoon, Evening or Night. A building with a morning cleaner and an evening contractor keeps them apart, and each person sees their own round rather than the whole day's list.

Filter the board by All shifts or a single one.

Floors

Tasks are placed by floor, and the list filters by All floors or one floor. If you have turned on Require floor before location in Housekeeping Settings, you pick the floor first and the location list narrows to it — see Building floors, and how locations work.

A round that covers several floors is scheduled per floor rather than as one task, so it can be completed and evidenced floor by floor.

Completing a task

Staff tick tasks off from their phone as they move through the building. Add Completion Notes for anything worth recording — a room that couldn't be accessed, a supply that ran out.

Completion photos

Housekeeping Settings → Require a completion photo makes a photo mandatory before a task can be closed. It is the difference between a tick and evidence, which matters when a tenant disputes whether a space was serviced.

Photo retention controls how long those images are kept.

Assignment

Assign a task to a person or leave it Unassigned for whoever is on shift. Cleaners see the housekeeping area and their own tickets — nothing else.

The completion log

Completion History is the audit trail: what was done, when, by whom, with the notes and photo attached. Filter it by date, floor or shift when you need to answer a specific question.
